Protect your investment
by purchasing a Pool Table Cover. If you currently
own a pool table and are without a pool table cover,
purchase one immediately. If you are in the market
to purchase a new or used table, do not continue the
assembly of your table without purchasing a pool
table cover first!
There are a variety of
options in material when it comes to pool table
covers. The most popular and inexpensive is a
standard plastic cover with more expensive options
in vinyl, leatherette and naugahyde. Work within
your budget, and select a cover that fits the feel
and style of your pool room environment.
The purpose of a
cover is rather obvious as a deterrent to dust,
debris, and any type of human 'accident' that may
occur while near the pool table. Another critical
factor to consider is direct sunlight to your pool
table felt and wood stain. Consistent exposure to
natural sunlight will cause your felt to lose its
vibrant color, and your wood finish to fade much
quicker with time. If at all possible position your
table away from direct sunlight when assembling, but
if that option is unavoidable be sure to select a
dark colored cover than can easily deflect sunlight. |
